OUR ORCHARDS

"Puranda" is the ancient name of a 3000 year old settlement just south of Izmir in Turkey – this is where our olive trees grow. Rocky and volcanic slopes of the Aegean hillsides, ideal soil conditions, a gentle breeze and a dry Mediterranean climate provide the exceptional terroir for our olive trees to prosper and for Puranda - our premium, organic extra virgin olive oil - to develop its delicious flavours.

 

By naming our olive oil "Puranda" we wanted to connect everyone to our home and everything we love to talk about. After all, delicious and premium olive oil is intrinsically tied to the location in which the olive trees grow - its soil, its weather conditions, its people, its history and its future.
